How are the flow and head of the pneumatic diaphragm pump calculated?
QBY-40 pneumatic diaphragm pump has a flow rate of 8 cubic meters per hour and a head of 50 meters. So if these data are derived? How to understand?
When the air supply pressure is 7 kg, and the head is at 0 meters, the diaphragm pump flow is 140 L / min, which is about 8 cubic meters. When the curve reaches 50 meters of head, the flow is close to zero. So when we say that the flow head of the diaphragm pump refers to the large flow and large head that the diaphragm pump can reach.
Let us look at the performance curve again. When the gas consumption reaches 700L / min, the supply pressure is 6 kg, and the flow rate is about 62L / min, and the head is 23m. Diaphragm pump flow head is related to air supply pressure and air consumption, but it is not the bigger the better, we have to choose the best plan from it. In addition, large head and large flow cannot be achieved at the same time.
